Interested in speaking out about Ana on film?
We are currently seeking participants of any sex, gender, age, race AND WEIGHT who are deeply involved in some online support community and who are able to talk to us about their disorder/choices/lifestyle and explain what the online networks mean to them (how they work, what is good about them, what is misunderstood about them, etc.).
We want to show a day in the life of Ana, Mia, Coe, Ednos from the perspective of a person who uses these websites and we want to provide a forum for such a person to reclaim ownership of her body and her narrative from the mainstream media. The producers of Ana’Äôs Girls are committed to treating each and every participant with the dignity and respect they deserve.
We have filmed two women from the UK to date and would like to expand our production into the US and Canada.¬Ý We are based in New York and are especially interested in hearing from those of you on the East Coast but would encourage anyone with a story to share to get in touch. We value your voice, and want to hear from you.
