Anna Obropta, Producer, Director
Anna Obropta, has over ten years of experience producing and directing PR, marketing and educational films and videos. With her own eating disorder history, Obropta is producing Ana’Äôs Girls with the intention of shining a light of understanding on this dark, complex underground culture. Obropta lives and works in Brooklyn.
Eda R. Uca, Producer
Eda R. Uca, writer and sociologist, became immersed in the Pro-Ana/Mia/Ed communities in 2001 and has authored the primary text on the subject, Ana's Girls: The Essential Guide to the Underground Eating Disorder Community Online. ¬ÝToday she remains committed to telling this story with the even handed clarity, dignity and compassion it deserves. Uca is a member of an intentional faith based community devoted to non-violence. She resides in Baltimore, MD.
